The counters

• total — all words in the selected chapter (or whole deck).
• due — available right now: every new word, plus any learning / known word whose review date has arrived.
• new — never seen before.
• learning — seen at least once; reviews are being spaced out.
• known — 5 correct answers in a row; reviewed occasionally as a reminder.

Each session shows up to 15 new words + all overdue learning words + up to 5 overdue known words.

Rating a card

• Got it ✓ — pushes next review further out.
• Hard — review again tomorrow.
• Forgot — resets streak; card returns immediately next session.

Review schedule

"Forgot" resets the streak to 0. "Hard" keeps the streak but schedules a 1-day review.

After finishing a session

• Got it / Hard words are scheduled for tomorrow or later — they won't appear again today.
• Forgot words come straight back at the start of the next session.
• New words you haven't seen yet are always waiting.

Multiple sessions per day

You can do as many sessions as you like. Each one introduces up to 15 more new words, so doing 2–3 sessions a day is a good way to get through new vocabulary faster. Words you already rated correctly won't repeat until their scheduled date regardless of how many sessions you do.
